Covid 19 info
as of 21/3/20, we were told to close our doors by the government to help with the fight against this global pandemic. We await news that we may return, (written 17/5/20) and are hoping to do so in July.
but in the meantime Emma the boss continues to research all the available options for our return. She has been closely watching other countries return to work and has been chatting to people all over the world to see what might be in store for us.
Whatever is in store, though, you can rest assured we will come back fighting, and ready to help all of you with the absolute correct equipment that we will need.
Just before we closed, and for a few weeks before, we upped our already high sanitation procedures, and will continue to do so on our return.
We guarantee the following
all stylists will be briefed on new health and safety procedures.
all members of staff have completed two courses in both sanitation and specifically sanitation during covid 19.
every person entering the building will wash and sanitise their hands before entering (thank goodness for our outdoor bathroom now!)
every shelf, chair, floor and mirror will be cleaned and sterilised after every guest (of course)
every gown will be freshly washed, every towel also (of course)
every door handle will be cleaned regularly.
every piece of equipment will be sterilised after every use (of course)
there will be plenty of hand sanitiser and hand wash and additionally many more hand towels have been purchased.
We already have such high standards of cleanliness, and will continue to look after both our team and guests.
We have purchased plenty of PPE equipment* and will await the government's guidelines of what we need to do on reopening.
* please note, there may be a PPE charge of £5 per guest we will need to implement on your first visit back to the salon.
